Le Jardin Français offers immersive, joyful French-language experiences designed to fit seamlessly into the school day. Programs support both Core French and French Immersion classrooms, bringing language, culture, and confidence together through hands-on, interactive learning experiences.
Le Jardin Français programs are designed and delivered by a Certified Ontario French teacher with extensive experience teaching Core French and French Immersion across elementary grades. All programs align with the Ontario FSL Curriculum and CEFR-informed practices, reflecting current best practices in oral language development, engagement, and accessibility.
At the heart of Le Jardin Français is a simple belief: students learn best when they feel confident, included, and excited to participate. Programs are carefully structured to meet students where they are, with language scaffolding, visual supports, and activities that celebrate effort and learning.
From planning to delivery, everything is handled by Le Jardin Français, requiring no preparation from school staff. Programs are flexible, well-organized, and designed to feel calm, joyful, and meaningful for both students and educators.
Le Jardin Français was created to bring French language and culture to life in ways that feel joyful, inclusive, and accessible for all learners. Programs are intentionally designed to fit seamlessly into the school day, respecting classroom routines, student needs, and teacher workload.
Experiences are hands-on, developmentally appropriate, and adaptable, with language, pacing, and expectations adjusted to reflect students’ French exposure in both Core French and French Immersion settings.
Le Jardin Français works with both Core French and French Immersion programs:
French Immersion schools: Whole-school participation (Grades 1–8)
Core French schools: Programs designed for FSL-participating grades (typically Grades 4–8)
Programs may be delivered as classroom workshops or whole-school experiences, depending on school context, scheduling needs, and instructional goals.
Le Jardin Français programs are eligible for funding through Canadian Parents for French (CPF), school council grants, and board-level French and experiential learning funds. We are happy to provide quotes and documentation to support school grant applications.
