Le Jardin Français is an Ontario-based French cultural education initiative designed to support meaningful, engaging French learning in elementary schools. Programs are designed and delivered by a Certified Ontario French Immersion and Core French teacher with extensive classroom experience across a range of school contexts.
All programs align with the Ontario FSL Curriculum and reflect CEFR-informed practices, with a strong emphasis on oral communication, authentic language use, and student engagement.
Le Jardin Français was created to bring French language and culture to life in ways that feel joyful, inclusive, and accessible for all learners. Programs are intentionally designed to fit seamlessly into the school day while respecting classroom routines, student needs, and teacher workload.
Experiences are hands-on, developmentally appropriate, and adaptable, with language, pacing, and expectations adjusted to reflect students’ French exposure in both Core French and French Immersion settings.
Le Jardin Français works with both Core French and French Immersion programs:
French Immersion schools: Whole-school participation (Grades 1–8)
Core French schools: Programs designed for FSL-participating grades (typically Grades 4–8)
Programs may be delivered as classroom workshops or whole-school experiences, depending on school context and scheduling needs.
Le Jardin Français is committed to creating memorable French experiences that support student confidence, community connection, and authentic language use — while keeping planning simple for schools.
